Exotic-L is a moderately high-traffic mailing list for people interested in raising exotic birds. Oft-posted topics include information about the care, feeding, housing and breeding of psittacines and other pet birds. Veterinary questions are often raised and answered. Pointers to related Internet sites are posted, as are comprehensive calendars of bird shows and other off-line recommendations. There is also a great deal of talk--subjects include the adventures of listmembers' birds, pet shops, breeders, and anything similar. Some discussion of wild exotic birds is also permissible.
